WHEN SHOULD THE AIR FILTER BE REPLACED

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The engine aspirates the air through a Filter element situated between
carburettor/ injection system and Air Intake.
Depending on its cubic capacity, an engine could consume between 200 and 500 m3 of air per hour.
The filter element is inserted in a plastic housing sited under the car hood. Normally, Air Filter is produced with Pleated Paper media surrounded , for all his border line, from a polyurethane gasket . However other media type are used in accordance to Filtration Efficiency required.
The plastic air filter Housing avoid contact with water and it contains a temperature control sensor that regulates the Intake Air temperature , optimising the combustion efficiency.
