SKF Hub Bearing Unit 1
Greased and sealed for life, the HBU1 cuts installation time and virtually eliminates problems caused by improper seal handling and bearing clearances. It is often equipped with a seal, on one side of the bearing unit, including an integrated magnetised ABS impulse wheel.
SKF Hub Bearing Unit 2
Combining a double-row ball bearing unit and an integral mounting flange, the HBU2 replaces the function of a separate bearing unit. Sealed for life with induction-hardened raceways, the HBU2 is used with non-driven front or rear wheels.
SKF Hub Bearing Unit 3
Featuring two flanges – one for mounting to the wheel and brake rotor assembly, one for fixing to the suspension – the HBU3 provides a significant simplification in corner design.
SKF X-Tracker®
Delivering car-like handling, comfort, and safety to light-duty trucks, this patented hub unit solution increases bearing capacity and improves hub stiffness by 50% compared to traditional tapered roller bearing units.
Wheel bearing and brake kits
Consisting of a brake drum or brake disc with pre-assembled bearings and components, SKF wheel bearing and brake kits (VKBD) enable faster installation and longer bearing service life.
Pre-assembled to ensure a perfect fit between the bearing and the brake drum or disc, VKBD kits eliminate the risk of mounting a bearing with incorrect clearance or incorrect seal positioning. VKBD kits are available for models such as Renault Scenic II, Renault Vel Satis and Opel Corsa.
