NYLON

Semi-crystalline polymer of polyamide obtained by the poymerisation of the caprolactam. It is a largely diffused termoplast, very used in the construction of parts of cars for his good characteristics. Hardness, tenacity, lightness, elevated resistance to the bumps also to low temperatures, low coefficient of attrition, elevated power of attenuation, does it prefer in manifold employments in the various sectors of the mechanical industry.

NYLON 6 CAST

Cast Nylon is generally accepted as the primary technical polymer, suitable for all simple bearing applications. By varying the conditions of the polymerization it is possible to change the mechanical characteristics adapting it to specific applications.
The production method of this polyamide, the polymerization of caprolactam directly in the mold, makes it possible to produce semi-finished or large finished pieces. It is also possible to increase the performance of the base polymer by adding various additives, lubricants and dyes. Particularly suitable for mechanical, food, electrical and chemical applications.

NYLON PA.6 + MOS

Among the technopolymers it has the highest mechanical strength even at high temperatures, and in difficult environments. Low coefficient of friction and abrasion, also lower than PA6; Self-lubricating does not require lubrication. High resistance to machine and grease oils, not resistant to concentrated acids, good resistance to aging and atmospheric agents. Applications: gear wheels, bushings, gearboxes, cams, spindles, manifolds, pump piston supply, valves and valve bodies, tracks, electrical insulators, augers, pump components and system rotors.

ACETAL

Acetal Resin is an extremely crystalline thermoplast, with high mechanical strength and rigidity as well as good flow properties and resistance to use, good workability. Water absorption is almost zero and the dimensional characteristics and stability remain unchanged. Physical properties remain unchanged in various environments. Mechanical strength, rigidity and dimensional stability can be improved by the sum of glass fiber. Thanks to its characteristics it is suitable for contact with food.

POLYTETRAFLUOROETHYLENE (also known as TEFLON)

Fluorinated polymers have extraordinary performance, but offset by the high cost. They are therefore used when the application requirements cannot be satisfied by other technopolymers, for example in chemically aggressive environments or in the presence of high temperatures. The main characteristic of fluorinated polymers lies in the fact that most of the chemical bonds present are of the C-F (Carbon-Fluorine) type. It follows that the molecules are very stable, able to withstand high levels of thermal stress and chemical aggression, more than other polymers.

POLYETHERETHERKETONE

It is a technologically advanced semi-crystalline thermoplastic as it combines excellent mechanical characteristics, excellent chemical resistance, but above all it can be used up to 260 ° C in hot water or steam or in very low temperature conditions, up to -60 ° C. This material is used in the food, aerospace, automotive, military defense, electronic and semiconductor, petrochemical, nuclear and hydroelectric, biomedical and cable manufacturing industries.

POLYETHYLENE

Polyethylene has a high resistance to chemical agents, absorbs little water and has good electrical properties. It is normally used with temperatures between – 40 ° c and + 80 ° c. PE is resistant to water, salt solutions, acids, alkalis, alcohol and gasoline. Below 60 ° C, PE is insoluble in all organic solvents. The use of certain types of high density PE is permitted for the production of fuel oil containers and fuel tanks. PE is odorless, tasteless and physiologically harmless and is suitable for use in the food industry. PE is easily weldable with traditional welding systems.

POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE

PET is an unreinforced semi-crystalline thermal polyester that exhibits dimensional stability similar to acetal in combination with Nylon wear resistance. Suitable for use in precision mechanical parts subjected to high loads and in abrasive environments. The low tendency to absorb humidity, low thermal expansion, in combination with a high mechanical resistance, creep and wear resistance, good electrical insulation and chemical resistance, makes this the most suitable material for the construction and use of moving parts, even with applications in wet environments.

POLYVINYL CHLORIDE

PVC is one of the most versatile, most economical and most widespread plastic materials. The uses of PVC are innumerable, for the addition of plasticizing products it can be molded by hot molding in the desired shapes, good chemical resistance and a discrete mechanical rigidity that gradually loses as the temperature increases, resisting up to max 60 ° C. PVC represents one of the most economically viable solutions for solving the problems encountered in the transport of corrosive industrial fluids, and in the distribution of water treatment in general.

KRISTAL FLEXIBLE PVC

Flexible PVC is produced with the addition of plasticizers in order to modify its elastic modulus. It exists in various colors, as well as transparent blued and insect-proof, with internal reinforcements and with formats typically divided between strips (typical for gates and gates) and even large rolls. It can also be used for blanked components.
