ENCODER SEALS

By combining the original Simmerring radial shaft seal with an elastomer encoder to measure speed and rotation angle, our mother group Freudenberg has developed an innovative sealing solution:

With the help of an integrated sensor the seal is able to measure speed precisely and therefore contributes to more efficiency in motor control. This new principle has proven itself many times in the original equipment sector.

SEAL KITS FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Under the TransTec brand, Corteco supplies the Independent Aftermarket with automatic transmission sealing kits of the highest quality. The components of each kit have the same design and material characteristics as the original equipment.

GASKETS

Cylinder head gaskets provide a seal for coolants, and lubricating oil all at the same time. The operating pressures and temperatures in modern engines are constantly on the increase. Meanwhile, engine oils contain additives that have an adverse affect on seals. This is particularly true with respect to direct injection diesel engines.

Consequently, the gaskets used in such systems must compensate for ever-increasing dynamic deformation. The Corteco solution is to supply gaskets featuring a combination of different metals with different elastomer layers, carefully adapted to complement each other and preserve the integrity of the seal.

SIMMERRING SHAFT SEALS

Corteco offers the widest selection of radial shaft seals of OE quality.  As the aftermarket distribution arm of Freudenberg Group – the designer and OEM manufacturer of the Simmerrings® – Corteco draws on the material and manufacturing expertise of its parent company and is able to deliver products with outstanding OE quality, distinguished by the high durability of their sealing properties.

VALVE STEM SEALS AND VALVES
