In 1983 Racor patented an exclusive technological process to separate and filter water from solid impurities present in fuel.
Racor Filter Spin-On
High flow applications need not suffer with high maintenance… and Racor offers a range of ultra-high capacity, highly efficient fuel filter/water separators that also deliver spin-on convenience.
As you’d expect, Aquabloc II media is standard, and all units provide flexibility in options to customize and meet specific operating conditions.
The SPIN-ON series filter consists of:
1- mounting head.
2- primer pump (depending by models)
3- cartdridge
4- heater (optional)
5- water probe (optional)
6- clear bowl & self venting
7- fuel restriction indicator (optional)
Racor Filter Turbine
Turbine Series filter assemblies are designed to be installed on the vacuum side of the fuel transfer pump for best efficiency and protect precision engine components from dirt, rust, algae, asphaltines, varnishes, and especially water, which is prevalent in engine fuels.
They remove contaminates from fuel using the following legendary three stage process:
Stage One: Separation
As fuel enters the filter assembly, it moves through the centrifuge and spins off large solids and water droplets which fall to the bottom of the collection bowl.
Stage Two: Coalescing
Small water droplets bead-up on the surface of the conical baffle and cartridge element. When heavy enough, they too fall to the bottom of the bowl.
Stage Three: Filtration
Proprietary Aquabloc II cartridge elements repel water and remove contaminants from fuel down to two micron (nominal). They are waterproof and effective longer then water absorbing elements.
Racor Farr Filter Air Division
In 2003 Farr Company joined the Racor Air Filter Division of Parker Hannifin.
For over 50 years Farr has been producing filtration systems with top quality combining scientific research with care for the customers’ requirements.
Farr filters are particularly used for high duty applications, e.g. for vehicles and off-roaders, for marine and industrial needs, for construction machinery which operate in a very dusty environment and for railway applications.
Thanks to the co-operation with Parker, the product range will be enlarged with a new generation of air filters.
Racor Filters CCV & CRANKVENT
Contaminated crankcase emissions are a serious problem for diesel engine owners and the environment. These emissions are a result of gas escaping past the piston rings due to high cylinder pressures into the crankcase. In the crankcase, these gases are contaminated with oil mist, water, etc.
These contaminated emissions escape through the engine breather into the engine compartment and the engine intake system.
The Racor CCV Crankcase Ventilation Filter Systems offer an effective solution to reduce contaminated crankcase emissions. The Racor CCV system removes crankcase emissions, providing protection for your engine and the environment.
Racor Filter FBO
The FBO assembly can be used on mobile refuelers or installed in refueling cabinets. The unit can also be used for diesel fuel dispensing pumps or as a primary fuel filter/water separator for large diesel engines.
The assembly features a locking ring collar, which attaches the filter housing to the aluminum die-cast filter head with four bolts. The closure hardware allows maintenance personnel – even one person
FBO Cartridges
Water Separator Filters remove water and contaminants and are the most popular filters.
Silicone Treated Filters remove particle contaminants down to one micron and can be used upstream, before a fuel filter/water separator, to extend filter life.
Water Absorber Filters absorb water and filter out contaminants from diesel fuel and other High Flow streams. out the filter cartridge.

Aviation gas
Gasoline and kerosene
