Remsa brake discs

Brake discs are certified as spare parts of matching quality according to regulation (EU) N. 461/2010. The Open Parts brake discs are made of grey cast iron GG20 with graphite flakes and a suitable combination of components that ensure thermal conductivity, resistance to breakage and vibration damping. The brake disc production processes include turning of rough parts, hub and braking band finishing and extra-fine turning of the surfaces.

High-temperature resistant silicone paint applied over the entire surface of the disc (Disc Antioxidant Process) to protect the brake disc against corrosion and rust caused by moisture and against weathering and chemicals. For medium to high vehicles range and with alloy wheels.

Brake pads are certified as spare parts of matching quality according to regulation (EU) N. 461/2010 and they comply with ECE R90 type-approval, the only recognised international standard that can guarantee performance equivalent to the original.

Scorching treatment on the surface of the braking pad, industrial pre-run-in process that anticipates gas discharge and reduces the initial phenomenon of fading, for greater safety from the first time you brake. The brake pad range includes all accessories (springs, indicators, etc.) envisaged for original components.

QUALITY OF COMPONENTS AND MANUFACTURING

The use of pearlitic cast iron G26 makes Open Parts brake drums extremely resistant to the pressure exerted by the shoes. The fixing holes, braking bands and support surface are accurately finished to ensure correct installation and efficient operation.

PERFORMANCE EQUIVALENT TO THE ORIGINAL

As in original equipment, the use of pre-formed rigid friction material (HFM) for Open Parts brake shoes prevents wheel locking for progressive, safe braking. The process of fine blanking on the regulators ensures the perfect indentation profile and the correct backlash recovery.
